Yumiyaki Review: Feast on Unlimited A5 Wagyu & Caviar in Rowland Heights

First Impressions

Walking into Yumiyaki, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that’s both chic and welcoming. Our server, was super friendly and knew everything about the menu.

This spot in Rowland Heights isn’t just about good vibes; it’s about an extraordinary dining adventure.

The Menu: Unlimited A5 Wagyu & Caviar

Yumiyaki offers something not found just anywhere: unlimited A5 Wagyu and caviar.

Yes, you read that right! The quality of the Wagyu here is top-notch, melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

So depending on the plan you get, Gold or Diamond, you’ll get more caviar or uni items. If that’s what you’re looking for, you might want to spend the additional $10 for that.

Some of the highlights for us included the nigiri, sashimi and hand rolls.

Be warned that the self-service area is a bit tight in terms of space but it’s okay because there’s a lot of delicious items that you’ll need to try.

All You Can Drink Milk Tea

But let’s not forget the drinks! Their all-you-can-drink milk tea is a creamy delight.

It’s the perfect balance to the rich flavors of the Wagyu and caviar.

When we went however, it wasn’t available until about 45 minutes into our meal so keep an eye out for it.

Service That Stands Out

The staff at Yumiyaki make sure you’re well taken care of. From the moment you sit down, they’re on point, explaining the menu and checking if you need anything.

They also are quick to clear your plates to make sure you have enough room on your table.

A Place for Everyone

Whether you’re here for a special occasion or just to indulge, Yumiyaki fits the bill.

It’s great for small groups or intimate dinners.

Just remember, the space is cozy, so it’s not ideal for large parties.

Is Yumiyaki Worth the Price?

Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but what do you expect with unlimited A5 Wagyu and caviar?

But in our personal opinion, we don’t enjoy A5 Wagyu as much in soup as we do grilled.

For that experience, check out Chubby Cattle.

A Few Tips

  • The place gets packed, so use Yelp’s waitlist to save time or be one of the first ones waiting (we went around 10:45 on a Sunday morning and got in no problem)
  • If you’re into trying a variety of dishes, the Diamond menu is a must (especially if you love caviar).
  • Save room for the seafood and save room for ice cream if you’re an ice cream lover.

Overall Thoughts

Yumiyaki isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. With its high-quality ingredients, attentive service, and unique offerings like unlimited A5 Wagyu and caviar, it’s a place you’ll want to come back to.

And while the seating is snug, the ambiance and food quality make up for it.

But if you’re worried about the high price tag of $100 per person or more, save it for very special occasions.
