Welcome to our latest food escapade at Chubby Cattle in Monterey Park!
If you’re a fan of A5 Wagyu, unlimited refills, and a dining experience that’s as fun as it is delicious, you’re in for a treat.
Let’s dive into our unforgettable experience, and don’t forget to watch the full video above!
The Chubby Cattle Experience
Chubby Cattle Monterey Park Wait Times
We arrived just before 4 o’clock on a Saturday, and the anticipation was palpable.
With only 19 tables in total, the wait was about 30 minutes for us, but larger groups were told to expect a 2-3 hour wait.
Pro tip: Come early and plan ahead, especially on weekends!
The Diamond Plan: A Sparkling Deal
Choosing the Diamond Plan at $88 (or $78 with a yearly membership), we were ready to feast.
By the way, the efficiency here is top-notch; all the sides came out within the first two minutes!
Here’s what it looks like when it comes presented to your table.
The A5 Wagyu Experience
Oh, the A5 Wagyu! From thin slices to fatty cubes, every bite was a melt-in-your-mouth sensation.
We even tried Uni with steak and wasabi, and it was divine.
Cooking it ourselves added to the fun, but be careful not to overcook it – undercooked is fine, and you could probably even eat it raw!
Is Chubby Cattle All You Can Eat?
Yes, Chubby Cattle is an all-you-can-eat restaurant!
From the most tender beef tongue to the wagyu fried rice, you can indulge in as much as you want within a 90-minute limit.
It’s a meat lover’s paradise, and even if you’re not a big meat eater, the quality and taste will win you over.
Seafood Delights and More
In addition to the meat, Chubby Cattle also offers seafood like shrimp with yuzu green onion, abalone, and oysters.
The shrimp is already peeled (yay for lazy shrimp eaters like us), and everything is juicy and meaty.
Drinks and Desserts
The passion fruit soda and green mango soda were refreshing after all that meat. And don’t forget the ice cream at the end – mango and melon sherbet to cleanse the palate.
The Verdict
We left Chubby Cattle in wagyu heaven, feeling like we got our money’s worth and more.
The total came to $229.04 for two, but considering the quality and quantity, it was worth every penny.
Conclusion: A Must-Visit Spot
Chubby Cattle in Monterey Park is a must-visit for food enthusiasts.
From the wagyu sliders to the short rib, every dish was a hit.
Just remember to come early, enjoy the experience, and maybe even bring your own spoon (BYOS) for the wagyu soup!
